Schematic context
The board utilizes a jumper cable to connect two phototransistor LEDs to hang on the sides of the robot's dribbler system.
Design decisions
The shape of the PCB was fundamental for this design because the PCB was to be side-mounted on the dribbler system of the robot. Thus, the exact location of drill holes and dimensions were heavily considered.
Bring-up & testing
The boards were soldered manually and verified by mounting the PCB onto the robot and ensuring that the breakbeam control board properly worked with the new phototransistor PCB.
